Last Friday (6 Sept 13) I was scheduled to pick up my ielts result in the afternoon at The British Council. But I just can't wait so as soon as I woke up that day, I logged into their website and hola! The results are up!!! To be honest, I was expecting that I will pass the exam but I didn't thought I will pass it with flying colors!
Truly God is an amazing God because I was praying for an 8.0 and He really gave it to me. I was very satisfied with the scores that I received across all sections:
Listening - 9.0
Reading - 8.0
Writing - 7.5
Speaking - 8.0
Over-all Band Score - 8.0
I am just glad thatall my hard work paid off. I actuallt opted for self-study because I am not comfortable in spending a few hundred dollars in a review center and I was inspired when I heard from one of my japanese student whom I was teaching ESL online that she herself had chosen to self-study. The scores that I achieved proves that if you put your heart and mind into something that you are aiming for - nothing is impossible.
I know this is just half of the whole process but I am grateful that we won victoriously!
Thank you very much Papa Jesus for blessing us more and more each day. Thank you for being a father to me all these years - you never let me down.
