The Gardens by the Bay is one of the latest tourist attractions in Singapore. It officially opened 2nd quarter of 2012 and was very well-received by the country's residents and visitors.
Just want to share with you some of our pictures when we toured this amazing eden last 1 October 2012.
We arrived at the Gardens around 4pm which I think was perfect because we get to see this stunning place at day and night. First we head down to the Flower Dome which was fully air-conditioned. I recommend you to buy the SGD 28.00 package which gives you the access to both the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest.
Stop and smell the flowers in the colourful changing displays of the Flower Field, which reflects the different seasons, festivals and themes!
Next, we went to the Cloud Forest. If you are visiting the Gardens by afternoon and you are feeling soooo hot due to the humidity of Singapore, I seriously recommend you check this out first as you will welcomed by the man-made Falls coupled with chilled air as soon as you stepped inside.
The Cloud Forest has 7 levels: The Lost World, Cavern, Waterfall View, Crystal Mountain, The Falls, Earth Check and +5 Degree or the Secret Garden.
The Cloud Walk is one of my favorite as it gives you a bird's eye-view of the entire forest.
Last but not the least. It was stunning to see the Super Trees from afar...much more when we got closer to these majestically designed vertical gardens of 25 to 50 meters tall. If you are planning to visit here soon, I recommend you to stay until nightime so you can see these gigantic trees come alive with an exhilarating display of light and sound. There's actually a 10-minute light and sound show everyday every 7:45pm and 8:45 pm.
So all in all, the entire adventure at Gardens by the Bay was really spectacular. I will definitely bring my family and friends here!
